Three Things to Watch on Sunday

Reggie Bush | Miami Dolphins

With the Jets aiming to rebound from last weekend's setback in the Steel City, Green and White Report takes a look at three things to keep an eye on for Sunday's AFC East battle.

Run Tim Run!

Mum's the word when it comes to Tim Tebow's snap count on Sundays. While Rex Ryan refuses to tip his hand, expect No. 15 to finally see significant playing time out of the Wildcat package against the Miami Dolphins. Tony Sparano and company appear gun-shy to unleash a full-fledge gadget attack in early season action. Opposing a top flight Dolphins run defense in Week Three, the Jets will need to devise some imaginative play-calling and utilize multiple formations if they hope to enjoy success on the ground. Look for Tebow to put on a breakout performance and propel Gang Green to its second victory of the year.

Tim Tebow | New York Jets

Island Fever

He is without question the most valuable player on the Jets roster and during his absence last Sunday, New York's secondary was victimized by Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and a talented trio of receivers. Back healthy and in the starting lineup, cornerback Darrelle Revis will pose an enormous challenge for Miami's middling wide receiving corps. Look for No. 24 to give Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannenhill fits with airtight coverage skills and a nose for the football.

Shush the Bush

Reggie Bush is quickly evolving into one of the most dynamic and game-breaking running backs in the NFL. The Jets defensive front will have to maintain their gap integrity and keep the former USC Trojan standout from making big chunk plays on the ground and through the passing game. As New York aims to avenge its regular season-finale loss in Miami, keeping Bush at bay will be the most critical factor is securing a win at Sun Life Stadium.
